While millions of consumers seek products that are slightly out of their immediate economic reach they rely on the Lay-Bye system to make their purchases. The iLay-Bye platform provides a simple mechanism for Retailers to extend various payment methods to a buyer via a mobile app thus enabling them to make future payments remotely in so doing saving on time and transport costs.

The platform will allow the buyer the ability to setup either a subscription based payment plan or to utilise an automated scheduled process to manage future dated payments. Once payment is complete the buyer is notified to collect the product or have it delivered.
All payments can be made using various card types including: Credit Card, Debit Card and Cheque Cards. Payment options also extend to Instant EFT if the user has a registered account with PayFast.
The platform uses a reporting platform that enables line of sight of all transactions including amounts owing to retailers. Reports can be exported on a Retailer by Retailer basis or in aggregate for iLay-Bye management catering to most operational requirements.
iLay-bye was established in 2019 to help people to be able to pay for their Lay-bye products with out having to stand in long lines or to spend money on transport to get to the store to pay for there lay-bye purchases.
